Oh my goodness! I’m such a sucker for treats and I love all types of cookies, even the cheap ones you buy at the grocery store like Oreo and Chips Ahoy. I can seriously munch on those all day long and not feel sick from it, haha!
Anyhoo… but one thing I’m really fond of is homemade fall cookies with cute pumpkin and leaf-themed shapes. Yeah, I’m a kid-ult at heart and so what? They bring back memories of me going back to school as a kid. I remember packing my mom’s pumpkin and oatmeal chocolate chip cookies in my lunchbox so I could share them with my classmates. The kiddos always loved them and that’s what made me happy!
One thing I can never ever forget is pairing maple brown sugar ice cream on top of those homemade cookies when they were freshly baked out of the oven. Yeah, yeah, a lot of calories and sugar, but it was AMAZING! Like, one of the best-tasting treats you could ask for as a kid.
