M&M’s, chocolate chip, macadamia nuts with white chocolate, peanut butter, blueberry chocolate—maybe even Skittles and gummy bears. Who knows?

Cookie Monster will eat any type of cookie. Just tell him it’s a cookie and he’ll go, “Nom nom nom!”

Maybe I am the Cookie Monster, looking for the best Chrstimas cookie recipes there are on Pinterest. Yes, I love cookies. They bring me so much joy.

Whenever I’m at work and feel stressed, I just pop a cookie in my mouth and feel so much better. That sweet indulgence lets you escape your troubles—so who doesn’t love taking a bite of a cookie?

It doesn’t matter who you are or what you are—I’m sure you love cookies. All types of cookies.

I wrote this post because I thought it’d be an easy way for me to come back to it whenever I feel like baking some fresh, homemade cookies. And it sure beats the ones from the grocery store. I mean, yuck—they don’t taste as fresh, and they don’t use the best ingredients.

Here, I can control what goes in. If I’m feeling healthy, I’ll use less sugar, go with oatmeal and dark chocolate. Or, when I’m feeling a little naughty, I’ll add sugar—but not as much as the store-bought kind—and it still tastes amazing. Honestly, the ones from outside are just loaded with sugar and can give you a headache.

But anyway, here are the most favorite cookies of all time. I hope enjoy these amazing cookie recipes!

Sometimes for breakfast, you don’t want a full big meal with eggs, bacon, pancakes, and toast.

There are days you just want to pop a cookie in your mouth, and this is when the healthy blueberry cookie comes to your rescue. Not deadly, but not too healthy to the point where you don’t want to eat it.

A great balance of delicious and healthy without overdoing it. So don’t be shy and grab one before you head to work. Berry your breakfast cravings.

These almond shortbread cookies will give you the nice adrenaline rush you need when you’re craving something novel and different.

The chocolate dip will spark nostalgia, and the almond will give your energy a boost. With a bit of crushed pistachio nuts, you’ll get a hint of protein and healthy fats for the day.

Treat yourself and never look back. Looking at this I’m going nuts about this bite.

Run, run, run as fast as you can, you can’t catch me because I’m the gingerbread man. Or maybe you did catch the gingerbread man.

Oops, too late. So sad for him, but happy for you… now you can eat him with joy.

Maybe he’d be happy that you’re happy. And hey, no need to save him just for the holidays. You can enjoy one even in the summertime when you’re feeling lonely and need a friend around.

I bet you could use a nice glass of lemonade with this lemon cookie treat only if you’re a zesty lemon lover like me.

If not, try pairing it with a strawberry shake to boost your vitamin C to the next level.

Yes, vitamin C helps give you glowing skin, as long as you don’t overdo it with the sugar. But if you do, it’s okay to treat yourself to something sweet once in a while. When life gives you lemons, bake cookies.

9. Red Velvet Chocolate Chip Cookies

Red velvet chocolate was once a hot trend in the 2010s or something like that, but fear not… it’s now considered a classic, timeless cookie that won’t go out of style. So you can calm down and enjoy this cookie in style when you’re bored of chocolate or oatmeal.

What a nice change of pace and a sweet reminder of 2010 when this cookie was a top hit. Velvet is the new classic.

10. Jam Thumbprint Cookies

These thumbprint cookies may remind you of Peak Freans’ famous red thumbprint cookies.

What a nostalgic and classic way to bring back your childhood memories when cookies were simple, without all the noise and new inventions of today like, ahem, red velvet (which didn’t exist back then… at least I don’t think so).

Whatever the case, these cookies are like a time machine that takes you back to your younger years. So relish the moment with every bite. Press pause and snack on the past.

11. Vegan White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies

Anyone like me who loved the white chocolate macadamia cookies at Starbucks?

Look who’s laughing. Now you don’t have to pay Starbucks the bucks. Just buy the ingredients and make an infinite amount at home.

Who knows, you can even start a bake sale and sell these for extra cash. Go and bake in the profits and bring smiles to everyone’s faces. I guarantee these will be such a hit that you’ll have repeating customers.

ANDDD that’s how the cookie cashes in! 🙂

12. Matcha White Chocolate Chip Cookies

If you ever get tired of the white macadamia nut cookie, then switch things up and try these matcha chocolate chip cookies.

Okay, just because they’re made with matcha powder doesn’t mean they’re healthy. I’m sure you already know that, but just making sure we’re on the same page.

Healthy or not, anyone who’s had a hard day at work deserves to treat themselves to these beautiful green cookies.

If it’s Christmas, you can make them Grinch-themed and gift them to matcha lovers too. Look how flexible they are. A matcha made in cookie heaven.

13. Italian Cookies

Italian cookies, is that what they call them?

Ah yes, the underrated holiday treats that don’t get the love they deserve.

They’re perfect if you don’t like them too sweet but just enough to satisfy your cookie obsession without always running to chocolate chip.

And trust me, you’ll fancy them with a coffee or rose tea. Biscotti, amaretti, or those soft ricotta ones… doesn’t matter which one — it’s nostalgic and you’ll feel like you’re on a vacation in Italy on a cruise ship.

14. Cake Mix Cookies

This cake mix cookie platter is perfect for those of you who want a bit of everything.

Can’t decide? Too much to think about? Decision paralysis?

No problem, girl. Just try them all guilt free.

My personal favorite is the M&M, always the winner. First runner-up? Red velvet with white chocolate chips. I can eat them for breakfast, as a snack, or even at 3 a.m. when I can’t seem to fall asleep.

15. Salted Dark Chocolate Chunk Pistachio Cookies

Dark chocolate is healthy, there’s no doubt that. And this holds true when you’re hardcore and can take it at 85%. But you know what? I dare you to try the 99% version.

Trust me, it’s amazingly delicious and personally I think it’s better than regular chocolate chip (maybe I’m just hardcore?).

With dark chocolate, you can have it every day and not feel guilty, but don’t overdo it because it is high in fat and can make you, well… you know.

Just remember, moderation is key. Have 1–2 and you’ll be just fine.
