Is it fibermaxxing time? I guess so.
As you might know, a high-protein, high-fiber diet is primarily designed for sustainable weight loss, improved satiety (feeling full longer), and enhanced metabolic health. It supports muscle maintenance while aiding digestion, stabilizing blood sugar, lowering cholesterol, and reducing long-term chronic disease risks, according to many medical sources.
I am not a medical doctor or a nutritionist, but I’m sure you’re familiar with the whole high-protein, high-fiber thing going on. Who isn’t? You want to work out, flex those muscles, and at the same time have enough vegetables (yes, veggies are your best source of fiber) to support healthy digestion and keep everything moving smoothly, which is important for overall health.
The good news is these meals are promising and will make you feel energized, full for a longer time, and more vibrant, not to mention feeling young again.
My favorite is the fiber-loaded beef burrito bowls because beef contains so many nutrients and tastes so good while still being healthy for you without sacrificing anything. You don’t have to go for unhealthy versions where they load up on artificial flavoring, unhealthy sauces, or whatnot. Just make your healthy version. It will taste better, and you’ll wonder why you didn’t do this sooner.
Another winner is the chickpea chicken curry, which is very appetizing, especially on cold days when you just want to feel comfy and cozy. Just make sure to load it up with your favorite vegetables so you can get your max fiber. I would suggest broccoli or spinach, as both are loaded with vitamin C as well, which is great for fighting off colds, especially during the wintertime.
And a timeless classic you can never go wrong with is wild-caught salmon with lemony quinoa loaded with arugula and mixed greens, which is by definition full of protein and fiber, so you’ll be sure to hit two birds with one stone. Aside from these top choices, there are many more to choose from, which is great because you can switch it up without getting bored eating the same thing again.
