When it comes to Christmas time, I love picking out food.
Christmas is the best time to indulge, eat as much as I want, and fill my stomach without feeling guilty about gaining a few extra pounds. Haha!
Another thing I really love about the holidays is that there are so many dishes to try. You can whip up all the appetizers and side dishes you want and serve them to your guests.
I’m confident they’ll love your recipes if you try the ones I’ve listed here in this post. One of my favorites is the combination of broccoli and cheese—oh boy, is it delicious!
And, of course, you can’t forget classic mashed potatoes, especially when you load them with sour cream, butter, and gravy.
I’m telling you, it feels like heaven at every Christmas gathering I attend, whether it’s at my aunt’s, my cousin’s, or one I host at home for my family.
We always have to make the best mashed potatoes. We also love making spinach puffs with feta cheese pastries. They are so delicious that, honestly, I could eat 20 in one sitting—I just can’t get enough!
These side dishes are perfect for when you get bored of the usual foods and want to try something different. That’s exactly how I feel about Christmas—it’s so memorable when you share all these delightful treats with your friends, family, and loved ones.
There are so many foods out there for you to try—corn, mac & cheese, squash, homemade garlic bread, spinach dips, lobster dips, nachos, and anything else delicious you can think of.
This post has it all for you, so let me know which recipes you’ve tried and which ones have become your favorites for Christmas!
After all, Christmas calories don’t sleigh—so enjoy every bite!
